Aloron
youth foundation
Founder · Noakhali, Bangladesh · Founded in 2021 · Still active, and I still lead it as a volunteer
I founded the Aloron Youth Foundation in Noakhali in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We began with awareness work. We then moved to funds for sewing machines, food carts and tea stalls. Our 126 active members donate blood and plasma for caesarean, thalassemic and other surgery patients. We also train young people with disabilities and no parents in freelancing and in photo and video editing. Two of them now work on content and marketing at AiryRides, my company.

Country representative, Bangladeshi student community at SWPU
I represent around 187 Bangladeshi students. In Ramadan 2024 the kitchen power in Student Dormitory 24 went off at 11 pm, so nobody could cook for suhoor, the 3 am pre-dawn meal. I raised it with the Office of International Affairs on my own initiative, and the university ordered the dormitory to supply power from 3 to 6 am.
12 to 14 April 2025
First organiser of Pohela Boishakh at SWPU
I was the first student to organise Pohela Boishakh, the Bengali New Year 1432, for Bangladeshi students at SWPU, which has enrolled them since 2017. I led a team of 29 students from Bangladesh, Morocco and Pakistan. About 400 people came from Bangladesh, China, Morocco, Iraq, Senegal, Pakistan and other countries. The programme had traditional dress, a hilsa and rice meal, a Bengali debate, and folk song and food competitions.
